Don’t look back—

One that looks is no fit;

Gaze the Lord in His eyes,

Like the sun they are lit

—pull away from the curtain of lies!

Love the Truth;

Not the beast in your chest,

That makes evil look smooth

—let no doubt put your God to a test!

Sons that mourn their mistake,

With their view into hope,

Rest assured in their fate

—don’t be proud, it’s a slippery slope!

Wounds are healed;

By the Lord that shows care,

All the scars will be sealed

—pass your place to a being that’s fair!
